A hidden gem!
Free parking.
£5 per adult. Pay in the shop, and you get a code to enter. A 40-minute walk. Dog friendly but keep dogs on leads.
There is a shop onsite for fishing and a cafe.
Beautiful walk for families and dogs!
Two viewing areas.
Well worth a visit.
Friendly staff. It's a lovely 2+ hours trail. Well maintained. Love that they have bridges for those parts that tend to form a pond. I think that even they charge for entry, it's worth the time spent. They also have a young children playground which our little one enjoyed. There's a cafe but we didn't visit this time.
Lovely place to experience some peace and tranquility!! Excellent place for a stroll around taking in all the different forms of wildlife including the Highland Cattle.
Sit outside and have a drink and a bite to eat from the café. All tucked away on the outskirts of Norwich.
Really lovely walk. Took us around 50 mins to do the circular walk. We had our 3 week old son with us in a pushchair, I would say you can get round in a pushchair as long as your child likes to be jiggled around as there are roots and uneven ground to navigate. We have fairly big tires on the back of our pushchair so if yours doesn't it maybe harder.
Cafe, park and toilets all on site.
£4 for an adult and £2 for a child to get in . We paid nothing for our son.
We will definitely come again, the Highland cows were a lovely bonus 😊.
Lovely place offering a halloween trail at the moment, great for children. Cows were enjoying the field, one was having a good old head scratch on the gate so had to wait to let him finish before we could carry on walking! Thank you👍 …
It's okay £4 to walk around the lakes. Gravel car park, shop, a few picnic benches. Nice setting. Pity its not free to use for Anglian Water customers whose rates pay for it too.
Lovely nature reserve on the doorstep! Staff in the visitors centre/cafe were super helpful with directions and all looked genuinely happy to help. The walk itself is so peaceful and beautiful. Perfect for an older dog like ours ❤️ we will be back!
Such a beautiful place. The visitors centre was lovely, very informative, the chap who worked there was very friendly and knew what he was talking about, made us feel very welcome and the walk itself was absolutely stunning, a must visit!
